quince first came to our attention through his early work on the delsin and music man labels. his blend of beautiful, melodic techno and weighty, warm house has already won him a strong following, with the likes of josh wink, steve bug and laurent garnier, and his impressive dj sets have seen him play some of the finest club nights and festivals throughout europe.his ‘noodles’ ep is a perfect fit for the imprint. two tracks of powerful, driving, melodic and intelligent techno. thoroughly road tested by the label heads themselves, and found to meet with aplomb, their exacting standards. we are happy to present it to you as the next release on green.

ripperton, green and joris voorn. a match made in heaven one might suggest? judging by this, the first single to be taken from the already highly acclaimed debut album from the swiss maestro we can confirm this as a statement. two years in the making, ‘niwa’ and its 14 chapters, represent personal and musical journeys, brought together as this wonderfully complete and exceptional piece of work. the beautifully emotive ‘random violence’ is the first track to be released as a single and is supported by a stunning remix from label head joris voorn, who adds a little ‘bite’ for the dancefloor.

the boys from 360, patrice baumel and nuno dos santos, made a video clip for their stunning track ‘neon one’ wich was released on green at the end of last year. the clip was recorded at one of our favourite clubs trouw and we just love it. you can check it under the visual section.

like he hasn’t won enough break-trough/talent awards, joris voorn is nominated for the 25th annual international dance music awards in the category … best break-through dj. joris will also be performing at several events this year. so if you’re in the hood go check him out.

after a very successful night at berlin’s panoramabar last weekend, joris voorn and edwin oosterwal will host a green night at doornroosje in nijmegen this saturday, february 13th. the night is the official release party of ripperton’s debut album on green “niwa”. next to ripperton they invited dutch talents pitto and quince who both are working on releases for green. see you there!

this sunday joris voorn and edwin oosterwal will host a green night at berlin’s panoramabar as part of the closing of this year’s club transmediale. they invited deetron and pitto to join them in one of the world’s most infamous venues. the party starts around 14.00 and will end when the last person has left the dancefloor. see you there!
