If you’ve been to a Rejected event within the last year, chances are you will have heard either label master Joris Voorn or commander in chief Edwin Oosterwal mixing in Poze’s uplifting remix of Ruben de Ronde’s ‘Stoer’. It has been their secret weapon for some time now, always provoking an immediate reaction from the crowd who sink into its deep, relaxing rhythm and swirling grooves.

Stepping up the pace is German DJ and producer duo Kruse & Nuernberg who add their own interpretation of the track. With their straightforward and modern approach to creating house music, we can trust them to bring the party vibe to everything they touch. Their deep and percussive remix breathes a piece of summer into the motion with lush tones and crisp breaks. Ahhh we remember it well… The summer of 2009. Each and every year theres one record thats universally tagged as the ‘Soundtrack of the Summer’. These, more often than not, party anthems have their seed steadily sown. From the producer to his close group of friends. A fizz of excitement. Then the lucky ‘Tastemakers,’ who play it each and every set. The buzz grows as the track soon takes hold of every dancefloor in every party destination. That summer saw the first release from Rejected’s ‘Dusty House’ series as label chief Joris Voorn dropped ‘Room 1′, a two tracker that was set to not only become the biggest club release of the year, but one that also instigated a filtered house revival. Whilst ‘Empty Trash” occupied the unenviable B Side and garnered great support, it was the lead cut “Sweep The Floor” that really stole the show and set the scene alight. The cheeky filtered stabbing number with its huge party-starting drops became the DJ’s ‘go to’ record and even found itself soundtracking feature trailers on BBC Radio 1.

With other artists commandeering the rooms of Rejected’s Dusty House, including fellow label owner Edwin Oosterwal, its been a while since the label boss Voorn has been in residence. Now he’s back and ready to drop his next brace of hits. “Spank The Maid” finds the Dutchman in a mischievous mood as he builds and drops with an organ riff and cut up vocal. On the flip Joris brings the 80′s hollywood synths and rattling snares to create yet another essential club cut.

With The Netherlands such a power-house of modern electronic music and with a strong close knit community of artists and labels, it comes as somewhat of a surprise that “Hiphouse” marks a rejected debut for Kabale undo Liebe and Lauhaus.

Its a brave producer that chooses to match one of hip-hops legendary and most cherished vocals with their fresh beats, but our fearless duo have taken care to show huge respect in creating a club cut that is set to dominate the floors for many months to come. Toronto’s Daniel Dubb makes a return to Rejected for the first time since his 2010 release “Bring The Heat.” This time, not only is he joined by fellow Canadian Adam K on the lead cut of his new EP, but he is also given the honour of hosting Room 5 of the Dutch label’s successful series of ‘Dusty House’ releases.

The Dusty House series was kicked off back in 2009 with label boss Joris Voorn’s now legendary “Sweep The Floor” heading up Room 1. The filtered house styling of the release ruled the summer season and the series gained a huge following as Joris was joined by Nic Fanciulli and fellow label boss Edwin Oosterwal, who both  took control of their own rooms in the house.

Heiko Laux was one of the very first artists to grace the Rejected catalogue with his double-header “Mirabella / Zeitluke” back in 2008. Renowned for his emotional and powerful productions, Heiko is also the owner and driving force behind the legendary German imprint, Kanzleramt.

The success of Heiko and his label is the result of an incredible level of musical consistency and it is this quality that has kept both at the forefront of modern electronic music since 1994. 2011 has seen Laux in imperiously productive form and whilst his techno persona has shone on the likes of Soma, Truesoul and of course Kanzleramt, we have also seen him heading into deeper and slower territory on releases such as “Can’t Unspill The Milk” his co-production with Teo Schulte on Suol.

Teaming up with Teo once again and returning to Rejected for the first time since 004, Heiko presents a stunning trio of mixes of, “Polyrhythm.”

Amsterdam label, Rejected are proud to announce a special remix of techno pioneer Moby from their very own head honcho, Joris Voorn. The on-fire producer has delivered a brand new re-work of ‘After’ taken from the American stalwart’s tenth studio album, Destroyed which has since seen a series of remix packages through the Little Idiot label. Now, Joris’ remix will be made available through Rejected’s usual digital platforms in addition to a limited edition 12″ vinyl. Taking Moby’s original, Joris injects a club sensibility with rolling bass and punchy beats. Instilling his unique feel for dancefloor-funk, the Dutchman adds plenty of soul to remix, leading the original away from its darkened edge and into the light. Subtle melodies and progressive keys build purposefully throughout the track to deliver yet more party fodder from Joris Voorn and Rejected. This will keep you dancing After the After!!
