Joris Voorn vs Moby – “After The After” out now
BUY NOW ON BEATPORT | PREVIEW ON SOUNDCLOUD
Amsterdam label, Rejected are proud to announce a special remix of techno pioneer Moby from their very own head honcho, Joris Voorn. The on-fire producer has delivered a brand new re-work of ‘After’ taken from the American stalwart’s tenth studio album, Destroyed which has since seen a series of remix packages through the Little Idiot label. Now, Joris’ remix will be made available through Rejected’s usual digital platforms in addition to a limited edition 12″ vinyl. Taking Moby’s original, Joris injects a club sensibility with rolling bass and punchy beats. Instilling his unique feel for dancefloor-funk, the Dutchman adds plenty of soul to remix, leading the original away from its darkened edge and into the light. Subtle melodies and progressive keys build purposefully throughout the track to deliver yet more party fodder from Joris Voorn and Rejected. This will keep you dancing After the After!!

Next to their 15 years on stage celebration at Trouw Amsterdam this Saturday. You can also catch Joris Voorn and Edwin Oosterwal together with Eva Maria at the Grand Closing of Beach Club Fuel this Sunday September 18 in Bloemendaal aan Zee. We’re already looking forward to the weekend and we hope to see you there!
Nic Fanciulli & Joris Voorn – “Together” out now
Following their blistering opening to the year with Ben Klock & DVS1′s remixes of Rejected’s “For The People”, the Dutch imprint turn to their chief of command and a brace of Fanciulli’s for this, their Fourth release of 2011.
On the A we find Joris Voorn locked in a dream-team combo’ with Rejected regular, Nic Fanciulli. Having reveled in the techno sounds of the labels previous release, “Together” drops us head first, into filter fueled tech-house territory. Oozing summer vibes and lavished with familiar vocal samples, this rolling number is set to take the summer’s terraces by storm…
On the B its the turn of the younger Fanciulli to take center stage. 2011 is set to be a big year for Mark and he kicks thing off in style with his debut Rejected release, “The Tide.” With Joris on the Edit, we are treated to a stripped, sleazy and bass-heavy groove… the hypnotic vocal is the key and instantly whisks us away to our very own electric ladyland… This is one tide that will never be out… Enjoy!

For 12 Minutes She Danced With An Alien out now!
Hot on the heels of releases from Edwin Oosterwal and iO, Rejected drops their latest smash hit. One that we are certain is set to rule this summer’s dancefloors. Gerd’s ‘For 12 Minutes She Danced With An Alien’ originally saw a release as a b-side back in 1995 on Speedy J’s Beam Me Up! label. Having recently made his own edit of the track, Joris Voorn secured permission to sign it for Rejected with Gerd agreeing to produce a fresh new version. The finest in ’90′s house, reworked and refreshed for today’s floors. Gerd’s new take is a sparkling, sunshine tinged delight perfect for those sunset or sunrise moments. Joris does what he does best by injecting some driving, disco-tinged vibes for the dancefloor. This release is set for big things, so grab it now and dance with the Alien!
