Amsterdam label, Rejected are proud to announce a special remix of techno pioneer Moby from their very own head honcho, Joris Voorn. The on-fire producer has delivered a brand new re-work of ‘After’ taken from the American stalwart’s tenth studio album, Destroyed which has since seen a series of remix packages through the Little Idiot label. Now, Joris’ remix will be made available through Rejected’s usual digital platforms in addition to a limited edition 12″ vinyl. Taking Moby’s original, Joris injects a club sensibility with rolling bass and punchy beats. Instilling his unique feel for dancefloor-funk, the Dutchman adds plenty of soul to remix, leading the original away from its darkened edge and into the light. Subtle melodies and progressive keys build purposefully throughout the track to deliver yet more party fodder from Joris Voorn and Rejected. This will keep you dancing After the After!!

Incident (Miyagi) is dedicated to the people of Japan, in response to the earthquake and tsunami which left the country devastated. Incident (2004) has been appreciated so much by my japanese fans, that now is the time to return the favour to a country so much in need. Incident (Miyagi) has been released today exclusively on Beatport, all label income will go to the Japanese Red Cross Society.

pitto – feelin’ remixes out now!

who would’ve thought it, techno dj’s playing filtered house. well, earlier this year it happened, and it was pitto’s ‘feelin” that caused the sensation. the original and superb dub, has gone on to become one of the biggest club releases of 2009. whispered rumour of a remix package has abound, and these were confirmed with early copies of a district one remix finding support amongst the dutch elite. well now its time to confirm the rumour, and not only bring you the district one remix, but bolster the package with a devastating remix from the master, joris voorn. supported by dj hell, pete tong, dj t, 2000 and one, michel cleis, sis, tobi neumann and many more. enjoy!

joris voorn & edwin oosterwal’s green imprint is probably best known for it’s modern classics ‘blank’ and ‘mpx309’. now they return with another classic: dosem’s beach kisses. 2008 saw the first release of the original ‘beach kisses’ on the ‘neue larmklassiker’ label. heavily supported by a wide range of dj’s, it was picked and edited by joris voorn to feature on his excellent ‘balance’ compilation. with voorn being such a huge fan of the track, it made sense for him to pick it up for ‘green’. so today, we bring ‘beach kisses’ the joris voorn green mix. powerful synth’s are the order of the day on this euphoric masterpiece. on the flip dosem has provided us with his own new edit under his ‘sendo’ guise. an atmospheric delight. and keep your ears and eyes peeled for the upcoming album ‘niwa’ on green from swiss sensation ripperton!

two tracks of the rejected label are featured on the no nonense cd mixed by michel de hey. first up is the track hotlips by warren fellow and edwin oosterwal. this track will be released on rejected in the not too distant future. second up is the district one remix of let’s go juno. besides these two tracks joris voorn’s remix of dark flower is also featured on the cd. even more tracks of our label were featured on the big & dirty sounds mixed by benny rodrigues. benny included rejected’s remix of jeroen verheij’s chica-go, lost and sl3.

district one and polder remixes out now!!

for the new rejected we have asked our friends from amsterdam polder and district one aka bart skils and anton pieete to remix two of our biggest tracks to date.district one’s remix of ‘lets go juno’ has an old skool warehouse feel. with ravey yet subtle synth builds and wonderful timing throughout, this really will destroy any floor it’s dropped on. polder has reworked ‘cliche’ into a hypnotic, rolling, funky techno masterpiece. check the audio player for a preview. the release is now available in your local record store and on beatport. so far the release has been supported by dj’s like luciano, dubfire, pete tong, monika krusse, laurent garnier, miss kittin, francois k, anja schneider, karotte, chris liebing, etc.
