Steve Mac joins Rejected!

Teaming with the Stripper, Steve Mac makes his debut on Rejected with ‘Whistle’ and ’2 Fingered Salute’. Elementally stripped, its the punchy bassline and regimental snaps of the Snare that, combined with its piercing breaks and of course ‘whistle’, that make the lead track most potent. ’2 Fingered Salute’ with its spooky hammering, lays its cards from the off, with its heads down, forward charging bassline and one note melody. Hypnotic and deadly, it packs a hell of a punch to go with its salute. Out now!

Summer break is over, new Rejected out now!

After staying on home shores for their previous release, Joris Voorn and Edwin Oosterwal look much further afield for Rejected 012 and welcome two young and exciting Canadian producers in Maher Daniel and Daniel Dubb. So the duo drop their collab EP with two prime time party starters in ’3rd Time Is A Charm’ and ‘Bring The Heat’. Watch as Maher’s piano stabs entice big ‘hands in the air’ moments and Daniel’s bassline brings the girls to the floor.

Deetron’s Green Selection

After his stunning Collide EP Deetron returns to Green with a compilation of his favourite tracks from the label. Deetron’s Green Selection features tracks by Joris Voorn, Ripperton, Stimming, Quince, 360 and of course Deetron’s own beatuiful Collide. Deetron also made two amazing edits that you can only find on this compilation. Joris Voorn’s Many Reasons and Ripperton’s Farra both got the Deetron treatment and he once again has proven his ability to craft exquisite, timeless pieces of music. This compilation will be a digital only release. Available now on Beatport.

For 12 Minutes She Danced With An Alien out now!

Hot on the heels of releases from Edwin Oosterwal and iO, Rejected drops their latest smash hit. One that we are certain is set to rule this summer’s dancefloors. Gerd’s ‘For 12 Minutes She Danced With An Alien’ originally saw a release as a b-side back in 1995 on Speedy J’s Beam Me Up! label. Having recently made his own edit of the track, Joris Voorn secured permission to sign it for Rejected with Gerd agreeing to produce a fresh new version. The finest in ’90′s house, reworked and refreshed for today’s floors. Gerd’s new take is a sparkling, sunshine tinged delight perfect for those sunset or sunrise moments. Joris does what he does best by injecting some driving, disco-tinged vibes for the dancefloor. This release is set for big things, so grab it now and dance with the Alien!rej011a.jpg

Second single from Ripperton’s Niwa out now!

Joris Voorn & Edwin Oosterwal’s Green imprint continue in their mission to bring the most beautiful of Techno to our floors, with the second remix package of tracks taken from ‘Niwa’, the stunning debut album from Swiss producer, Ripperton. Having already bathed in the depth defying strings of ‘Random Violence’, and shaken our hips to label chief Voorn’s remix, it’s time for us to turn to our attention to ‘Leonor’s Lanugo’ and its extraordinary reworks from Radio Slave. Green could not have found a finer match. The melodic genius of Ripperton is wonderfully sculpted by the UK producer, who delivers not one, but two remixes. Part 1 sees Radio Slave taking ‘Leonor’s Lanugo’ on a deep, hypnotic workout. Its warm, all encompassing bassline works brilliantly with its tribal drum line to deliver a deadly take on the original. On Part 2 Radio Slave takes a housier direction. Rock solid beats are interwoven with the original’s beautiful string melody as bird calls and wild cats prowling add to the incredible suspense to create an inspiring remix. Rounding out this promo package is a digital exclusive treat for all. Ripperton’s very own ‘Helsinki Digital Edit’ of ‘The Hill’, a track that was exclusive to the Ltd 3LP Vinyl release of the album.

iO’s debut release on Rejected out now!

Alex & Artem launched iO in february 2009, and ever since have been treating us to their brand of no nonsense, funk fueled, vibing tech- house.  iO’s Diynamic Music release ‘Cabaret’ that really shot them onto the world’s stage. A release that reached #02 on both the Resident Advisor monthly chart and Beatport’s Tech-House run down.  Today’s kickin’ two tracker for Rejected sees the duo deliver yet more killer dancefloor vibes with ‘Play The Same’ and ‘I Swear’. Lead track ‘Play The Same’ is all about its locked on groove. Loose beats, heavy bass, a warm sax line and moody vocal, all go into this tasty opener. On the flip we have the instant party starter ‘I Swear’. iO’s trademark rolling beats are met with smooth rhodes keys and a soulful vocal line. As the track progresses, the bassline seems to increase its intensity and the groove drives us on.rej010_web.jpg

dusty house room 4 out now!

over the past twelve months, rejected have seen their super successful ‘dusty house’ series become the catalyst for a reemergence of the filtered house sound. with joris voorn’s ‘sweep the floor’ ruling the summer of 2009, and nic fanciulli’s ‘feed the freezer’ dominating the winter months, its time for us to enter la maison once again, this time to visit ‘room 4′. room 4 is occupied by edwin oosterwal, co-owner of both rejected and green imprints alongside joris voorn. our move from room 3 to 4 is seamless, and this is down to the sheer quality of oosterwal’s productions. ‘scrub the tub’ with its crowd baiting piano riff and floor shattering bassline is a certain smash. as is ‘beat the dirt’ on the flip with its disco flavoured, funk guitar mastery.rej0074_web.jpg

deetron back on green!

after having contributed a remix a few years ago, green are proud and excited to welcome deetron for what is his debut release with us. whether its creating the deepest and most soulful of house, or the grandest of emotional techno. deetron’s ability to craft exquisite, timeless pieces is second to none. on ‘collide’ the detroit spirit is evident. a majestic track, that’s power is held in its euphoric synth arpeggio, which builds constantly to its climax. ‘dark matter’ on the flip is a bass heavy, almost steppin’ affair, with a darker atmosphere that is brightened temporarily by the lush pads in the break.

green welcomes quince!

quince first came to our attention through his early work on the delsin and music man labels. his blend of beautiful, melodic techno and weighty, warm house has already won him a strong following, with the likes of josh wink, steve bug and laurent garnier, and his impressive dj sets have seen him play some of the finest club nights and festivals throughout europe.his ‘noodles’ ep is a perfect fit for the imprint. two tracks of powerful, driving, melodic and intelligent techno. thoroughly road tested by the label heads themselves, and found to meet with aplomb, their exacting standards. we are happy to present it to you as the next release on green.
